HISCOX BUILDING, YORK

Located in York city centre, the build package included construction of the roof, facade, and entrance lobby steelwork for a new four-storey office building – the company’s biggest office outside of London.

The primary steelwork included exposed RHS columns of architectural importance forming the full-height curved atrium.

We also designed, fabricated, and installed the steelwork to support a decommissioned rocket, positioned as the centre piece of the four-storey high atrium.

Construction required site welding of fin plates to the face of cast-in embedment plates.
