We undertake all aspects of structural design, from main structure to connection design. Our design team utilise the latest computer design software in the production of design calculations, including AutoCAD, Fastrak, and MasterSeries packages.

Our designers include Chartered Structural Engineers with over 30 years’ experience in design structural steelwork, working to the latest British Standards and Eurocodes and keeping up to date with latest industry developments and any changes to codes of practice, and building regulations.

As part of our commitment to value engineering and delivering the best service and project cost to our clients, we provide the most effective and cost effective design as a priority.

We supply an extensive range of steel materials including specialised grades such as S355J2+N, Corten (Weathering Steel), and cold rolled (grade/zinc spec).

Our highly skilled and experienced workforce includes directly-employed welders certified to fabricate from Execution Class 1 up to Execution Class 3 (EXC1, EXC2, EXC3) and capable of manufacturing 200-300 tonnes of steel per week.

We fabricate all primary and secondary structural steelwork, from portal frames to mezzanines, access platforms, and stairs.

We endeavour to prefabricate and modularise on our projects wherever possible. Our recent work has included prefabricated modules, girders, and trusses, all fully assembled in our own facility in Teesside.

Our in-house Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for inspecting all steelwork prior to leaving the facility (along with CSWIP accredited inspectors).

All of our site personnel are directly employed and fully competent in the area of work required to complete the contract, with the relevant CSCS card. Our employees are carefully selected for projects using their previous experience, knowledge, and qualifications.

Our full-time QA Manager carries out regular site visits to inspect work alongside our EHS Manager. Daily DABS and NABS meetings and Toolbox talks are conducted to communicate regularly with our frontline operatives.

We excel at completing critical works and working on restrictive or live sites, using a wealth of expertise developed from repeat business across the nation’s busiest airports.

We work stringently to the NAECI Agreement within Power Generation and Petrochemical sectors.

We offer a one-stop service for complete processing of projects and superstructure packages, from structural design through to the supply and installation of ancillary materials.

We regularly supply and fix open grid flooring, handrail, stairs, and metal decking, and further extended our scope on recent projects to include:

• Cladding (louvres, doors, windows)
• Lifting of materials for other trades (vessels, concrete planks, lift shafts)
• Ductwork
• HVAC

We work closely and collaboratively with local companies wherever possible to complement our in-house capabilities and facilities.

All sub-contractors and vendors must prequalify via our documented and approved PQQ process in line with our BS EN ISO 9001:2018 accreditation.
