Project Background
Our scope briefly included the supply and install of freestanding structures at the live site:
West Piperack: a 15-metre long structure, three levels.
East Piperack: a 15-metre long structure, three levels.
Platforms (various): including access platforms, steam let-down platforms, loading bay platforms, and support frames, located across the site and all complete with metalwork ancillaries.
Piperack PL04: a smaller, 11-metre long pipe rack, three levels.
Piperack PL05: a 12-metre long piperack connector between two existing structures.
Cable Tray Support PL09-PL10: a 25-metre long, two level, support structure spanning between two existing pipe racks.
Miscellaneous Pipe Supports: c.100 individual SPS supports located across the site, including inside the existing MPB3 building to all four levels.
We fully utilised our fabrication workshop to preassemble as many of the structures as possible, to reduce the site programme on the live site.
